Thank you!! The reason it is called "FOOT LOOSE"...a horseman told me I had the painting wrong. I asked why and he said: " the front legs and back legs are in the wrong position, to be doing the same thing..." I informed him, he was correct. At the precise moment I photographed this young girl, a canon went off, scaring this horse, so he went from merely walking to wanting to gallop away!! Glad you liked it. Also, should you want a larger print, let me know, and I will submit a larger jpg for you. The prints being done on canvas, it makes it rather nice to capture the feeling of owning an original! Once again, thank you for stopping by! Also, I have a website, which is merely my name, but for prints, Fine Art America is the best way to go! Always, Betty Billups

Over the years of photographing Native American's at their annual ceremonials, I have returned and given them gifts of prints and beaded items, as a token of thanks, for "allowing me" to capture their beautiful spirit.

If you are interested in any image you find on this website, and cannot get an image large enough for your liking, please contact me, and I will be sure FAA has a digital image to accommodate your order! Capturing an inner feeling, so quickly passing, that's beyond words, almost beyond thought: the nuances that dance between a mountain & the sky that embraces her, creating a symphony that the eyes perceive, but only the soul remembers. This celebration of light upon the physical & ethereal worlds, creates a love affair for the viewer. It's this special moment that excites me, that drives me to risk failure, if I but the chance to capture a fraction of what I see, feel or know, from this wonderful experience we call "Life!!"...
