Description
This scene no longer exists...and having found out that they were going to tear out a large part of the trees along Sand Creek, in Sandpoint Idaho...I husseled down to the bank opposite this scene, got on my hands and knees, and painted, until I was able to capture this beauty, soon to be destroyed!
Hope you enjoy it! I also have a smaller painting, that could be made into a print, without the black lines, which are the spaces ONLY with this mural image!

Yes, it broke my heart, to see such beauty destroyed for "progress"...however, I must say...that the "road crew" that is doing the work, on the remainder of this stretch of river (almost a mile)... are doing an awesomely beautiful job, saving trees, building paths for bikes and walking....and I understand that they will also have "polliwog shallows" for the "resident frogs!!! SO... ALL is not lost!!!
